SAE Institute Miami announced today that the school will now offer their popular Audio Technology Diploma Program to accommodate Spanish speaking students, beginning on November 27th. The program, which spans nine months, is specifically designed to train students for positions in commercial recording, post-production studio and live sound events.

In addition to receiving an official diploma upon graduation, students will also have the necessary skills for entry-level management positions in the entertainment business.

Co-taught by Frank Rodriquez and Andres Sanchez – these instructors are no strangers to the Latin music community; with Rodriquez boasting a long list of credentials including credits as triple platinum producer for Daddy Yankee and Latin Grammy Award winner Juan Luis Guerra.  Graduates of this program in Miami have seen great success in the industry as well including individuals who have engineered for the likes of Shakira, Flo-Rida, Justin Timberlake, Bow Wow, Rick Ross, Joss Stone and some who have produced the Spanish version albums for Beyonce and Christina Aguilera.

The new bilingual initiative also includes a Spanish option on the local Miami campus website page for those interested in more information. In a community where an average 67% of individuals speak Spanish at home, SAE felt this was a great way to reach the local Hispanic community and potential students with a unique offering.

In the announcement, SAE Institute Miami Campus Director, Vincent Brooks stated, “Since the establishment of our Miami campus in 2001, we have actively sought new and innovative ways to connect with the local community and stay in tune with the needs of our students, alumni and potential students.  With the launch of our bilingual diploma program and Spanish website, we are thrilled to be broadening our reach to an even more diverse pool of students who have interest and talent in the field and were looking for this type of opportunity to arise. We are looking towards the success of this course to help us eventually expand this offering to our part-time program as well as the specialized Electronic Music Production Course.”
