The Center for Hispanic Leadership has announced that it will support a 10 city Hispanic Leadership Tour in 2011. The tour’s mission is to create awareness of education toward building a global workplace that will give Hispanic professionals new purpose, put premium on innovation and maintain ethical leadership on driving performance.

CHL Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Glenn Llopis will visit 10 of the leading Hispanic workplace communities in America to listen, learn, train and help accelerate the impact and influence of Hispanic Leadership in the workplace.

“Our goal is to share and expand the dialogue from our successful summit via roundtables that will include key influencers across the corporate, academia, non-profit and government sectors. It’s time to accelerate the advancement of CHL’s Hispanic Leadership mission by helping individuals and organizations understand why Hispanic Leadership matters in today’s new economy – and in the workplace,” says Llopis.

The Leadership Summit was attended by more than 200 of Corporate America’s finest leaders, brands and innovators and included prominent sponsors such as IBM, Xerox, Toyota, State Farm, AOL, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, The Sanchez Ricardo Agency, Banco Santander, O’Melveny & Myers LLP, Portos Bakery, Don Francisco Coffee and Junior Achievement. Attendees represented notable organizations such as Pepsi, American Express, Coke, Union Bank, Aetna, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, UCLA, UST Global, USC, The Latino Coalition, Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility, Sears Holding Corporation, General Mills, Ernest & Young and many others.

Throughout the summit, leaders were given the opportunity to make a commitment to participate in the Hispanic Leadership Tour and targeted cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, New York, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Francisco. “CHL was designed to grow organically and it is our active responsibility to seek new Hispanic Leadership voices to unite, empower and expand our cause-based mission,” says Llopis.

“We are delighted to have received the support of so many Hispanic professionals that represent a balance of functional and hierarchical levels across several industries, public and private sectors. This powerful representation throughout the tour will further fuel our CHL message, impact and influence as we seek to develop and advance the millions of Hispanic professionals that continue to reshape the footprint of America’s Corporations and the increasingly diverse marketplace,” concludes Llopis.
