Francisco Tejada, a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, began his work with the company in Bethpage, New York, which is the home of the prestigious Lunar Module and F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. While there, he worked on the Integrated Logistics Support team. Tejada then served as a level 3 engineering position on the new NYCWiN project for the City of New York.

Tejada earned his master's degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He currently serves as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers-NYC Pre-College Relations Director. Tejada  previously served as Treasurer and President at the Poly-SHPE Student Chapter and on the Professional Development Program committee in the NYC chapter.

Since 2008, he has led SHPE-NYC’s initiative to promote the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields at the pre-college levels.
