The S&T Braintrust is held in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference. This year, the Braintrust will focus on models of educational excellence. Nationally-recognized panelists will dialogue with the audience on educational programs with a proven track record of getting youth
engaged in math and science.
The aim of this interactive discussion is to facilitate an exchange of ideas so that students, administrators, and executives can be heard and learn something new about educational strategies that succeed. Special guest, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX), has served for 17 years on the House Science Committee and is
deeply passionate about initiatives that provide educational opportunities, particularly for disadvantaged students.
