Learn How Engineering Alliance Can Increase Student Engagement

Engineering Alliance, a program of student competitions and leadership activities designed for the PLTW curriculum, was developed through a partnership with Project Lead The Way (PLTW), Technology Student Association and SkillsUSA.

PLTW middle and high school students are able to compete in online contests and leadership activities that will reinforce problem-solving and critical thinking skills that PLTW students are already developing in the classroom every day. EA adds a competition to each required course offered through the established Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum.

“Competitions and leadership activities are an excellent complement to the hands-on, project-based curriculum that PLTW students experience every day in the classroom. We are proud to be a part of Engineering Alliance and encourage our students to spend their time in school and after school working hard to become the next generation of innovators,” said John Lock, CEO of Project Lead The Way.

EA is offering a free open viewing of all EA components from November 2 – November 4, 2010. The EA open view is designed to give those interested in Engineering Alliance (teachers, school and district administrators, state leaders and university affiliates) an opportunity to discover all that Engineering Alliance has to offer.

For instructions on accessing the Engineering Alliance open view, please e-mail info@engineeringalliance.org or call Sandy Honour toll free at 888/860-9010.
