From hispanicengineer.com Business U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood will deliver opening remarks at “The Road to Recovery,” a two-day summit for small and disadvantaged businesses at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC on March 24 – 25. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, the two-day forum will highlight programs available to help small firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals compete for DOT contracts.
