The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) has named UPS its 2009 Corporation of the Year for its leadership in Hispanic business development and continued commitment to supplier diversity.

“UPS is a vital part of Georgia’s economy and has demonstrated its dedication to the betterment of our Hispanic business community,” said Tisha R. Tallman, president and CEO of the GHCC.

Since 1992, UPS’s supplier diversity program has focused on providing opportunities to small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
