Pitney Bowes, a mailstream technology company that helps organizations manage the flow of information, mail, documents and packages, announced that it has been named to the 2008 Best Diversity Companies list by Diversity/Careers in Engineering and Information Technology. The readers’ choice award is based on Pitney Bowes’ support of minorities and women, its attention to work-life balance and commitment to supplier diversity.
In April 2008, Pitney Bowes was named to DiversityMBA Magazine’s “Top 50 Companies for Diverse Managers to Work.” The list includes companies that implement accountable strategies to ensure diversity at all levels with the organization and the pipeline development of emerging leaders. In addition, Jennifer Bonilla, vice president, Midwest region, Pitney Bowes was named to DiversityMBA Magazine’s summer 2008 edition of “Top 100 Under 50” diverse executive leaders.
In February, Pitney Bowes was awarded Hispanic Enterprise’s “Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity.” Pitney Bowes, with annual revenues now totalling $6.3 billion, was cited for actively seeking Hispanic suppliers through participation and sponsorships in Hispanic organization outreach events and conferences.
