BALTIMORE, Md. — The editors of Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazine (www.hispanicengineer.com) have selected the prestigious 100 Most Important Hispanics in Technology and Business for 2006. The list will also be published in the conference edition of Science Spectrum magazine.
Honorees are chosen for this annual list because of their leadership and outstanding work in the field of technology. This list includes many of the nation’s highest achieving Hispanic executives, managers, and researchers in industry, government, and academia. These are women and men who have demonstrated leadership on a broad front, not only in the workplace, but also in their communities.
HE&IT recognizes contributions made on a daily basis by the thousands of Hispanics in technology-related jobs. The event to honor the 100 Most Important Hispanics will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006, during the Minorities in Research Science (MIRS) Conference in Baltimore, MD.
